in 2001, changgang signed a whole-sided cooperation agreement with xi’an university of architecture technology. we built a waste resource treatment base for steel plant. they utilize the large amount slag in the course of steel production to develop garden-like steel enterprise and make our enterprise from polluted to ecological.

after cooperation, the cement clinker production line whose production is 1000 tons daily in changgang cement manufacturing co, ltd has started-up on august 27, which was the first to non-steel industry. meanwhile, the million-ton slag cement production line is under construction.

moreover, 600,000-ton compound rammed coke oven project which is advanced domestically and first-class internationally will be in firing stage. the metal products company, livelihood company, and attached company develop with rapid step and get good result.

non-steel industry in changgang is developing rapidly and has formed a closed-circuit model. it makes thousands of employees enter “non-steel” from dominant industry and the individual steel production has increased rapidly.
