    on december 13, 2003 our company held an evaluating meeting about “technology of lean coal as main stamping method to produce 1 grade metallurgical coke” in taiyuan agency. the meeting was organized by shanxi economic and trade committee, charged by shanxi metallurgy industry management office. some relative
experts from shanxi metallurgical designing institute and taigang evaluated the technology innovating item of changgang.

     coking coal is the main raw material to produce metallurgical coke, but the storage of excellent metallurgical coke in our country is not enough. most of them have high sulphur content and high ash content, meanwhile, the amount of storage of lean coal、 poor coal 、gas coal is high. in view of exsisting situation , combining production practice of 600,000-ton stamping coke oven, our company developed a new technology that is to produce excellent quality coke with poor caking coal. the technology passed a coking test of produce 1 grade metallurgical coke keeping lean coal as main mixing coal to determine a scheme of coal mixing. this technology not only can mix 40% poor caking lean coal but more poor caking gas coal and meagre coal when producing 1 grade metallurgy coke. under the equal products quality, compared with normal coal mixing, it can save high quality main coking coal and fat coal 、lower coal cost 、make use of coal resources 、 produce 1 grade in national standard metallurgical coke、 promote local economic developing、 lower cost of coke material.

     experts attending visited technics equipments on the spot and video recording of changgang ruida coking factory, listened to technology research reports and usage reports from customers introduced by technology center. identified by national metallurgy industry quality supervision and detection of coking products , the products meet quality index in 1 grade metallurgical coke in gb1996---80 .

     finally experts agreed on that the technology fills the blank of coal mixing keeping lean coal as the base to produce stamp 1 grade metallurgical coke and provides certain production practical experience and theoretical research basis for the research of objecting mixing more poor caking lean and meager coal. it has wide spread value and has reached advanced level inside our country.
